NERVANA®'S ACTIVE INGREDIENTS:

BOSWELLA AND ACMELLA

The two natural ingredients, Boswella and Acmella, are specifically designed and formulated to optimize their absorption, which is otherwise negligible in normal formulations. Boswellia is integrated into a phytosome, a phospholipid complex that ensures its absorption, while Acmella is combined with beta cyclodextrin, a cyclic oligosaccharide capable of more rapidly delivering the substance into the body. The formulation of NERVANA® guarantees the absence of undesirable effects while ensuring optimal availability of the natural ingredients.

How to optimize the effect of phytonutrients?

Many natural compounds can offer great benefits, but sometimes their poor availability makes them ineffective. Phytosome® technology, developed by Indena®, ensures the bioactivity and absorption of natural components while maintaining the right balance between hydrophilicity (ability to dissolve in water) and lipophilicity (ability to be absorbed). The most important aspect is not the amount of active ingredient you take, but the optimization of its absorption, so that the natural compounds are able to release their full potential in terms of health benefits.

Betacyclodextrin

Betacyclodextrin is an oligosaccharide that has a cyclic structure that, by binding to a given active ingredient, facilitates its dissolution in water and subsequent absorption. The special ring structure allows a particle to be placed inside, which can then be carried to the absorption site, protecting it from gastric juices and limiting possible side effects. The use of this technology thus has the dual advantage of protecting the actives and increasing their availability to the body.
