Elgasin® is useful in cases of bloating, meteorism and flatulence. These symptoms are usually due to excess intestinal gas produced by the fermentation of certain foods, either of vegetable origin (vegetables, legumes, cereals, fruit) or others containing lactose (milk, sweets, cream, some cheeses, pizza), which are partially or poorly digested.
How does it work?
Elgasin® combats the formation of intestinal gas caused by foods containing lactose or indigestible carbohydrates, thanks to the combined action of two enzymes, α-galactosidase and β-galactosidase, and Carum Carvi, better known as meadow caraway.
α-galactosidase aids the digestion of complex carbohydrates in certain foods, reducing fermentation processes and gas production.
β-galactosidase improves the digestion of lactose in people who digest it poorly.
Carvi helps regulate intestinal motility and eliminate abdominal gas.
How to use it?
1-2 tablets before main meals or before taking foods containing lactose and indigestible carbohydrates. Tablets can be swallowed with water or chewed.

Contraindications
Elgasin® has no contraindications: the two enzymes (α-galactosidase and β-galactosidase) are activated and depleted only in the presence of lactose and/or indigestible oligosaccharides, while the dry extract of Carvi, taken orally and in the recommended dosages, does not cause habituation or undesirable effects
Warnings
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a varied, balanced diet and a healthy lifestyle. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep out of reach of children under three years of age.
Excessive consumption may have laxative effects.
For optimal reduction, take before consuming foods containing lactose. Tolerance to lactose is variable and you should seek advice from your doctor regarding the role of lactose in your diet.
The product should be stored at a temperature between 10°C and 25°C, in a dry place and away from light and localized heat sources.
