Sanidrox Plus

Sanidrox Plus is a safe system for the production of decontaminating solutions, virucidal disinfectants and high-level disinfectants (cold sterilizers). It is presented as a hygroscopic powder and, thanks to the presence of an antioxidant in the formulation, protects metal devices from corrosion.

Sanidrox Plus provides effective bactericidal, cleansing, and anticorrosive action.

It is active against viruses, spores, fungi, Gram-positive, Gram-negative bacteria, and acid-resistant bacilli. In addition to peracetic acid (active oxygen), it contains enzymes that have the function of breaking down organic material on the instrument and anionic-non-ionic surfactants that facilitate its removal.

Once the solution is ready, it becomes transparent: this allows the immersed devices to be seen.

Dilute the product in tap water following this procedure:

• pour the dose of Sanidrox Plus into the water (start activation);
• shake until most of the powder is dissolved (2-3 minutes minimum);
• wait 10 minutes (30 minutes for high cold sterilizing disinfection) for the activation to consolidate                                                                                                                                                        At this point the solution is ready to be used. The contact time of the devices to be disinfected with the solution can vary from 5 to 10 min (10 min for high-cold sterilizing disinfection). Remove instruments from the solution using an aseptic technique and rinse them with sterile distilled water.

Sanidrox Plus is harmful if swallowed. Avoid contact with the eyes: this can cause serious eye damage; in case of contact, rinse immediately with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
