Sanisteril^® NeoFerri

Sanisteril NeoFerri is indicated for the (emergency or extemporaneous) disinfection and aseptic storage of surgical instruments and non-critical medical devices, both invasive and non-invasive.

Thanks to a balanced mixture of active ingredients based on quaternary ammonium salts, Sanisteril NeoFerri has a marked disinfectant, germicidal, bactericidal and fungicidal action. The product formulation does not manifest oxidizing action on surfaces, avoiding corrosive effects on sensitive materials. The product is a clear blue solution with a slight odor and neutral pH.

Sanisteril NeoFerri is a ready-to-use solution: it does not require dilution and is suitable for the disinfection of clean medical devices with a contact time of 10 minutes.

When temporarily aseptically storing clean medical devices, take care not to contaminate them, do not dilute the solution, and remove instruments from the solution by aseptically removing them and rinsing thoroughly with sterile water.

It can also be used as a decontaminant of medical devices immediately after their use, effective against HIV before subsequent treatments (minimum contact time: 10 minutes).

Once used, the solutions should be renewed. Preferably keep the solutions covered by using lidded trays. Reclose the package after each withdrawal and use the contents within 90 days.

In case of contact with the eyes, rinse thoroughly with water for at least 10 minutes, holding the eyelids apart; consult a doctor.

In case of contact with skin, remove contaminated clothing and wash affected areas with plenty of water.

If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; rinse your mouth immediately without swallowing and drink plenty of water. Seek medical advice
